the beginning

The lore: as told by gettles via twitter on June 6th, 2022.

I've told this story many times in spaces but never in writing for those invested,, the @solpuffss story:

I was making and posting these custom powerpuffs on instagram in 2020. This was the first project I really worked on when I got my ipad and was learning to draw at one point i was selling them on IG stories for $5.

fast forward to February 2022:

Tiff encourages me to post the OG puffs I made for e, coach, and her.

Later that night the @solpuffss were born in spaces 10 puffs were made and minted and the community was born

Over the next few weeks, I gave away around 35 puffs away as gifts to the people that had nurtured my journey into this space.

Artists that inspired me turned into friends and the solpuffs groupchat turned into my favorite place to be on twitter.

To me the solpuffs have been a key moment in my career. Each one of these people I've grown with as an artist and person, and have been inspired by the success I've witnessed them achieve aswell.

The collection finishes up this week, which means celebration starts NOW.

The pixel puffs, minting [June 14th], is a generative collection based off the @solpuffss, for the solpuffs.

Learning HOW to make a generative collection has always been a goal of mine, and the solpuffs have given me a place to try new things, make mistakes, and ask for advice

As an ex web2 digital marketer -- this space is one I've been waiting for. The opportunity to start and nurture my own brand I am so grateful for the support I've been given. And I'm more inspired than ever to to learn more and continue to push the puffs forward as I grow.
